The Russian National Congress of Cardiology attended by international participants is currently taking place in St. Petersburg. Its scientific program is devoted to professional education, science, and innovation. The event includes an exhibition of medicines, equipment for diagnosis and treatment, where the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade presented the new products of Russian manufacturers for diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
The visitors could see a wireless electrocardiograph with automatic remote interpretation of ECG manufactured by Schwabe holding company. In just a few minutes, this device can issue a preliminary conclusion, using 500 thousand verified electrocardiograms are embedded in the system. The new apparatus already operates in 14 Russian regions and in Kazakhstan.
The joint exposition also includes a new lung ventilator manufactured by the Ural Instrument Making Plant for maternity hospitals and perinatal centers. This device will allow to provide intensive care both for newborns weighing only 500 grams and for adults weighing up to 250 kilograms. The product is currently in the process of obtaining the authorizations from Roszdravnadzor.
Izhevsk Mechanical Plant presented small implantable pacemakers capable of increasing frequency of stimulating pulses depending on the physical activity of the patient. The features of this device include the automatic switching of stimulation mode, night frequency, and intracardiac electrogram recording.
Russian manufacturers also create sophisticated systems for ultrasound diagnosis. The advanced equipment includes the latest new generation mobile x-ray surgery device produced by Electron. Instead of traditional x-ray image amplifier, this device is equipped with a flat panel detector. The system allows to see the blood vessels with a diameter of 50 microns, tiniest defects and pathologies.
