POZIS JSC, an affiliate of Techmash concern of Rostec Corporation, for the first time delivered Russian medical equipment to Hong Kong. Under the contract, the customer received HF-140 POZIS, pharmaceutical refrigerators designed for storage of thermolabile drugs, and RBC-2, new generation compact bactericidal recirculators for air disinfection.
“Chinese market of medical equipment is confidently ranked second largest in the world. Modern competitive medical equipment manufactured by Rostec has high export potential and will certainly be of interest to our partners in the region. We actively promote our new products and work to expand the range and volume of civil-purpose exports,” said Oleg Yevtushenko, Executive Director of Rostec.
Manufacturing medical refrigerating and disinfecting equipment is a priority area in the civil-purpose segment of POZIS activities. These products have high export potential and include more than 75 items providing 8% of export revenues. New contracts will increase the share of civil-purpose products in the manufacturing activities of the holding company up to 50% by 2025.
“Today, China is actively changing its local legislation, as the state is toughening requirements for medical, pharmaceutical companies and carriers of thermolabile drugs and vaccines. As a result, medical refrigerators ensuring compliance with GMP and “cold chain” standards becomes extremely popular,” said Vladimir Lepin, General Director of Techmash Concern.
