    Russia may enact its register of interchangeable medicines from January 1, 2019

    Russian Ministry of Health completed its work on the bill to amend the Federal Law “On Circulation of Medicines” which provides, in particular, for the establishment of a register of interchangeable drugs. It may be enacted from January 1, 2019. The public discussion of the bill will continue until May 14. In addition, it should be approved by the Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS).

    According to the Governor of Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov, Kaluga pharmaceutical cluster achieved significant results over the seven years of its existence. This period was marked by a five-fold increase in the output. For 2017, the industrial production index of the sector reached 167%.
