    Since July 1 in Russia the order of an extract of recipes on narcotic and psychotropic preparations became simpler. The relevant document as "The Russian newspaper" reports, was approved by Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.

    The pharmaceutical market in Russia - current status, trends and changes

    During his speech at BioForum 2013 in Budapest, Artur Shigabutdinov, from the Russian company Nadim Cro, characterized the pharmaceutical sector in Russia. He stressed the important role of generic drugs in the development of the pharmaceutical sector in the country, listed the factors stimulating development of the sector, as well as those that slow it down and talked about the changes in Russian legislation that reflect on the performance of the sector.

    During the first few months of 2013, the Russian government has proposed, and in some cases adopted, new legislation that introduces a number of significant changes to the regulation of (1) the procurement of pharmaceuticals1 by Russian state-owned clinics, the Ministry of Health and other Russian federal, regional and local governmental authorities and financed from the federal, regional or municipal budgets (“Government Procurement”) and (2) the advertisement of biologically active substances and pharmaceuticals in Russia.

    Russia signals for stronger bilateral relation with India in healthcare sector

This was informed by the top representatives of the Russian government, during a high level interactive meeting in Mumbai recently.
